Cork city is the third largest city in Ireland, after Dublin and Belfast. The city is known for its hilly streets, friendly people, walks along the bank of the River Lee and of course great choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and things to do.

Getting around is easiest if you walk and you should take a stroll along the River Lee, visit Saint Finbarr’s cathedral or Cork City gaol while you are there.

There are plenty of shopping area in the city center or you can visit Mahon Shopping centre to the south of the city which has a fine selection of stores and cafes as well as a multi screen cinema complex.

If you take the car you are not far from Kinsale, Blarney or Fota Wildlife park which are all interesting day-trips.
